Live Auction Preview and Early Bidding

 

  1. Online bidding will open on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 2:00 PM EST and close on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 6:00 PM EST.

  2. Anyone can bid on any item. 

  3. All bids are legally binding. Your bid is a contract.

  4. When you place a bid, you will be asked to confirm your name and email address.

  5. When you place a bid on an online auction item or purchase a fixed-price item, you are agreeing to any specific terms and conditions imposed by the seller and included by the seller in the item’s description.

  6. All bids are final. Once you have placed and confirmed a bid, your bid cannot be retracted.

  7. You will receive an email confirming each bid, and an email if you are outbid before 6:00 PM November 6, 2025.

  8. The highest online bid on each item as of 6:00 PM November 6, 2025 will become the opening bid during the live auction at our 9th Annual SHOOT FOR THE MOON on November 7.

  9. The highest online bidder’s name will not be disclosed.

  10. Anyone who bids online may continue to bid on any item during the live auction. 

  11. If no one at the live auction outbids the highest online bid, the highest online bidder will be declared the winner.  That bidder will be emailed a payment link on November 7.  

  12. You are the winning bidder if your bid is the highest bid at auction close and your bid is accepted by the seller. When you purchase a fixed-price item, you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase the item from the seller.

  13. If you are a winning bidder or purchase a fixed-price item, you agree to pay the seller the full amount of your winning bid (for biddable items) or the sale price (for fixed-price items). You also agree to honor the seller’s requirements regarding method and time of payment.

  14. Don’t want to wait until November 7?  Make any item yours before 6:00 PM EST on November 6 by clicking BUY IT NOW and paying the listed fair market value for the item. Any item sold before November 6 at 6:00 PM EST will not be pulled from the live auction on November 7.

  15. Mark Garwood Foundation reserve the right to add or remove items from the online auction at any time without notice.

BIDDING & PAYMENTS

Bids will be accepted online through 6:00 PM EST on November 6.  The online high bid will become the opening bid during the live auction at SHOOT FOR THE MOON on November 7.  Online bidders may continue to bid in person at the event.  The highest bidder will be notified at the event or via email on November 7.  Online high bidders will be emailed a link for payment.  Failure to pay within 24 hours will result in the package being sold to the next highest bidder.
