In Memory of Mark

Erica and John Garwood endowed the Mark Garwood Phoenix House in memory of their late son, Mark, to provide a safe and structured home for women in the early stages of their recovery. It was fitting that Erica and John spent what should have been Mark’s 31st birthday with the women of Phoenix House. After lunch, the women joined the Garwoods in a balloon release in memory of Mark and in gratitude for his legacy of compassion, strength and hope.
